Hey, you know those cool DSLR cameras photographers love? I got a wanna-be DSLR camera, AKA the Sony α3000. Which is a so-called "Mirrorless" camera.
Quite honestly, I'm a shitty photographer. Though I don't really try to be a good one either, I've always enjoyed good cameras, but I never really owned a good one myself. So I thought it was about time to change that. Phone cameras just don't cut it for me, not even my Xperia Z2, though that has a pretty nice camera for a phone. My main issue is that I like shooting low-light photos, and that's the point where phone cameras will just completely shit themselves, not even most proper cameras do a good job in low-light.
I'm not a fan of those extremely high contrast and vividly saturated images that most amateur photographers take when they just get their first camera. I've always been a fan of taking darker images. In fact, this was the 10th image I took after getting my camera (The first 9 mostly just being random ISO and Shutter time tests):
This is a classic example of something that would make most phone cameras or regular digital cameras shit themselves. And honestly, most of my images are like this, instead of saying more I'm just gonna dump a couple:
Note: None of these are edited, they've only been thrown through Darktable for resizing
